Description

Woven in the mountainous village of Cheshmeh Ali by artisan Fatemeh Salehi, this Gabbeh runner is a poetic expression of nomadic life and ancestral craft. Rooted in Qooch’s ethos—connecting heritage with modern homes—this piece carries the warmth of handspun organic wool and the quiet symbolism of tribal motifs.

The design features five horizontal bands, four of which are dyed in deep natural browns—echoing the soil and grazing lands of the Zagros region. Stylised animal figures roam these sections, while the central beige field is adorned with three slender, tree-like forms in red and blue—recalling growth, storytelling, and the branching paths of tradition.

This runner is ideal for hallways, entryways, or layered interiors where soul and simplicity meet.

Each Qooch rug is one-of-a-kind, a woven diary from the hands of its maker to the heart of your space.
