Returns. If the rug is not right for you, you can return it within 14 days. Reply to your order confirmation email with your order number, the reason, and whether you would like an exchange or a refund. We answer within one or two business days.
Return shipping is free if the rug arrived damaged or we made a mistake. In other cases the return shipping cost is yours.
Refunds go back to your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days after we receive the rug.
Colour. Every rug is photographed in daylight, but handspun wool changes a little with the light in your room. If you are unsure about a colour, ask us for more photos before you order.
Description
Knotted by hand by Khaleh Begum in Ardal, high in the Zagros mountains, this small Persian wool rug pairs warm earth brown with deep navy, the colours of the mountains at dusk. The wool is spun by hand, which gives the pile its softness and quiet depth.
Like every Gabbeh, it was woven without a drawn design. Its few motifs come from the weaver’s own world: the flock, the land and the turning seasons of a life tied to the mountains.
Small in size but strong in presence, it suits a bedside, an entrance or a reading corner.
